In Vivo Study Finds Solution to Skin Firming

According to the GCI website, Lipotec performed a new in vivo test on Uplevity peptide to work against sagging and aging. In counteracting the force of gravity, the tetrapeptide increases collagen and functional elastin synthesis.

For 56 days, a group of 40-60-year-old women with saggy skin and loss of elasticity on the face volunteered to apply cream with 2% Uplevity peptide solution twice a day.

Results showed skin firmness improved with a 25.2% decrease in maximal deformation, the general elasticity of the skin was enhanced by 16% and results left a visible lifting effect of the face contour with a decrease of 0.13 cm.
