Celebrating 50 years of sample preparation, Anton Paar presents Multiwave 5001 and Multiwave 3001, two microwave digestion systems designed to set new standards in laboratory efficiency and safety. These systems are said to deliver reliable results across various industries, including cosmetics, environmental analysis, pharmaceuticals and food testing.

Key Features of Multiwave 5001 and 3001

Per the company, the Multiwave series is designed to enhance workflows, demonstrating good durability and resilience even with the most difficult samples, while improving operational efficiency and throughput. 

Key features include the following.

  • Sample capacity: Multiwave 5001 processes up to 64 samples while Multiwave 3001 handles up to 41, reducing time and costs.
  • Versatility: Multiwave 5001 reaches up to 300°C and 100 bar, accommodating complex tests easily.
  • User-friendly interface: A 10.1" touchscreen simplifies operation and training.
  • Safety: Equipped with self-checks, software interlocks and a safety door, both systems are ETL and GS certified.
  • Data Management: The Multiwave 5001 features Anton Paar Connect for easy data access and sharing.

Enhanced User Experiece and Digital Ready

The company adds that both systems come with advanced rotor concepts, hands-free door operation and a method library of more than 600 pre-installed programs. In addition, SmartTemp 2.0 technology ensures accurate temperature monitoring.

The Multiwave 5001 is reportedly especially suited for extraction, evaporation and drying, and is said to excel in applications requiring high throughput and temperatures. The Multiwave 3001 offers a cost-effective option for everyday applications.

Streamlined operation in both models allows for up to 64 vessels to be processed with minimal human input, resulting in clear results. Features like SmartVent technology and tool-free operation also enhance user experience.

What's more, both systems come prepared for digitalization, ensuring traceability and compliance with industry standards. The integration of Anton Paar Connect and automated data export allows for easy data access and sharing with stakeholders.
