This product allows the user to create any lipstick color at home within 20 sec. According to the company, Lipskit was created "to avoid wasting money and space on unused products that are typically sitting around." Additionally, the lipstick dispenser provides an eco-friendly alternative to traditional packaging; see below for a video demonstration of the dispenser.

Lipskit features vegan, cruelty-free and paraben-free color cartridges from which consumers can create any lip color in any amount in reusable jars. Additionally, the kit includes a Moisture Drop technology to change the product texture from matte to glossy, which can also be used to moderate the tint of the lip color.

The company reports it plans to extend this same flexibility to other categories of makeup including eye shadows, blushes and foundations.

Ingredients (pigment cartridges): Isododecane, Hydrogenated Styrene/Isoprene Copolymer, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Ozokerite, Polybutene, Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Cyclomethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Titanium Dioxide, Silica, Phenoxyethanol.

The following video, provided by the company, shows how to create a lip color and use the Lipskit product:
