On September 15, 2026, Inolex announced the launch of SustOleo Embrace, a multifunctional sensory enhancer for skincare, body care and fragrance applications. The ingredient is derived from coconut using amino ester technology to provide a lightweight finish without a greasy feel.

“Following the success of LexFeel Enhance MB in sun care, SustOleo Embrace marks our second product launch this year,” said Miao Wang, vice president of research and development and commercialization at Inolex. “Powered by our proprietary, patented amino ester platform, it creates unique interactions with skin and fragrance that transform the sensory experience while delivering added performance benefits. By combining superior sensory performance with natural origin, biodegradability and care, SustOleo Embrace sets a new standard for multi-functional sensory enhancers.”

According to the company’s press release, SustOleo is a biodegradable ingredient and is 85% natural. Further, in a controlled in vivo study, a serum containing the ingredient improved dry skin scaliness by 33% and smoothness by 30% after one application. The ingredient also improves fragrance retention in the formulation and extends fragrance release on the skin for up to 20 hours.

“Consumers decide with their senses,” said president Art Knox. “How a product feels, how skin looks afterward, how long the scent lasts: that is where brands win or lose now. Our customers tackled the problem with three ingredients. SustOleo Embrace single-handedly solves that problem.”

SustOleo Embrace is palm-free, vegan, cruelty-free, Halal-certified, and Kosher-compliant.
