Nuwen Develops Waterless Dissolvable Shower Gel Tablet

Nuwen is presenting a dissolvable shower gel tablet during Cosmetic 360 in Paris, Oct. 12-13. Developed using Tab&Care technology, the shower gel dissolves in water to turn into a standard shower gel with a creamy foam.

Tab&Care combines industrial compression and formulation specifications that take into account environmental responsibility, quintessence and sensoriality. 

The  waterless dissolvable shower gel tablet is composed of unspecified natural ingredients. 

Sandrine Le Guichard, head of the R&D department at Nuwen, said:  “Our R&D team carried out a long formulation work. The challenge was to succeed in combining effective natural ingredients compatible with the compression action in order to obtain a smooth and solid tablet, perfectly adapted to the neck of the packaging.”
