The international personal care ingredients community will come together in Barcelona, Spain this March when in-cos Global returns to offer opportunities for attendees to network, source ingredients and share insights.

More than 850 personal care ingredient suppliers are confirmed to showcase over 2,800 ingredients. Among them, 80% of the top 20 global cosmetics ingredient suppliers will be in attendance. This includes BASF, Croda, Ashland, Solvay, Clariant, Momentive, Evonik, Lubrizol, Nouryon, Arxada (formerly Lonza Specialty Ingredients), Stepan Europe, Wacker, Shin-Etsu, Roquette, DSM and Symrise.

The event will also feature more than 80 new exhibitors, including BOKILBIO, Innovative Ingredients, Farmforce, Lucideon, Roka Furadada, Sequential Bio and Aromaaz International.

Clean beauty is the leading trend with more than 1,300 ingredients on display that are organic, green, cruelty-free or natural. Biotech ingredients, where plant extracts are manufactured using various techniques such as cold pressing, compression, steam distillation or solvent extraction, are also rising in popularity. 

Biotech ingredients on display include Active Concepts S.r.l, that will share its ACB Rice Water SF (INCI: Oryza Sativa (Rice) Seed Water (and) Saccharomyces Ferment (and) Lactobacillus Ferment) designed to accelerate growth and rejuvenate damaged hair. 

Givaudan Active Beauty, will demonstrate the benefits of marine biotechnology with B-Lightyl (INCI: Glycerin (and) Water (Aqua) (and) Ascorbic Acid (and) Himanthalia Elongata Extract) universal dark spot eraser, a natural ingredient that addresses hyperpigmentation. It reduces the number of visible spots, reactivates the expression of SDF-1 and protects against solar and senile lentigo.

The company will also profile its Chronoglow (INCI: Not Provided) active ingredient, crafted by green fractionation and empowered by artificial intelligence. The ingredient is a natural cure for the skin, helping to reverse the effects of aging and improve its radiance.

ROELMI HPC will showcase its ÆCTive (INCI: Not Provided) for microbiota care. The postbiotic has a dermobiotic target that helps to maintain osmotic balance and ensures the balance of skin microbiota.

Lipotrue will promote ÆONOME (INCI: Bacillus Ferment), a bacterial ferment. The ingredient induces the release of antioxidants by a balanced microbiota protecting skin from visible signs of aging.
