The 2026 Cosmetics & Toiletries (C&T) Allē Awards are now accepting submissions from commercial beauty device developers.

The C&T Allē Awards bring behind-the-scenes beauty innovation into the spotlight — covering everything from cosmetic ingredients and formulas to testing methods, digital technologies and, as mentioned, consumer beauty devices.

Submit your device and gain recognition as a leader in next-gen beauty technology.

Commercial Beauty Devices Defined

For the C&T Allēs, commercial beauty devices are considered electronic tools or gadgets designed for personal use by individuals in their own homes to enhance appearance, especially skin and hair.

Commercially available on the market, these devices deliver treatments traditionally offered only in professional salons or clinics — but are manufactured and marketed for safe, effective consumer operation without a professional aesthetician or therapist.

According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), their primary functions include improving skin aesthetics, addressing aging concerns, facilitating hair removal, and providing other beauty treatments.

Example Devices

A variety of advanced technologies power these devices, including radiofrequency, LED light therapy, microcurrents, lasers and more. Compared to professional-grade machines, at-home beauty devices are generally less powerful but designed for safety and ease of use.

Specific examples of consumer beauty devices include:

  • Facial cleansing brushes,
  • LED light therapy masks and wands,
  • Microcurrent devices,
  • Hair removal devices and
  • Facial steamers.

Gain Recognition and Visibility

For companies developing such innovative commercial beauty devices, the C&T Allē Awards offer a unique opportunity to gain recognition and visibility within the beauty industry. Whether your device supports anti-aging, skin rejuvenation, hair care or other personal care goals, the awards celebrate your role in advancing accessible beauty technology.

Entries are open now. Submit your commercial at-home beauty device and join the leaders shaping the future of consumer beauty solutions.
