Reno, NV — Sorella Apothecary, the barrier-first professional skincare brand, has launched the Pear Enzyme Glaze. The exfoliation treatment uses Pear, Lime, Papaya, and Pineapple Enzymes alongside a carefully selected acid complex. It is good for dullness, redness, large pores, dryness, dark spots and healthy aging.
Pear Enzyme Glaze is available as a backbar professional treatment and a retail product. It is designed for a wide range of skin types, including sensitive, sensitized, and barrier-compromised skin. Enzymatic exfoliation breaks down keratin in dead skin cells without chemical aggression or friction, unlike acid-only exfoliants. When combined with Lactic and Mandelic Acids, the two mechanisms target multiple causes of dullness and uneven tone simultaneously.
Lactobacillus Ferment helps maintain microbiome balance throughout the process, the Olive Oil and Jojoba Esters replenish lipids and support barrier recovery after exfoliation. The treatment exfoliates and promotes healthy cell renewal, minimizes the appearance of pores, lightens hyperpigmentation and balances sebum to make skin appear radiant and more youthful and make the skin's complexion and texture more even.
"The Lime Enzyme brings naturally occurring fruit acids and enzymes from Finger Lime and Round Lime, the Pear Enzyme adds a layer of gentle, effective resurfacing, and Papaya and Pineapple support the enzyme story beautifully, all working alongside our acid complex. What I love most is that this supports the barrier throughout; it does not compromise it. Our lineup already has strong exfoliation options, and this adds a dimension that makes the whole category stronger," said Emily Sindlinger, Co-Founder of Sorella Apothecary.
To use the Pear Enzyme Glaze, apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin and use gentle circular motions over the face, neck and décolleté. Let the product to sit for 5-15 minutes, depending on skin sensitivity and desired exfoliation level. Remove the product with a warm towel.
