Mother Dirt has announced the reformulation and expansion of its entire product line based on the Active Probiotic System featuring AOB, Ammonia Oxidizing Bacteria.

AOB is the key ingredient in Mother Dirt’s AO+ Restorative Mist, which has been reformulated and incorporated into two new skin care kits. The PeaceKeeper and The Difference are, respectively, Mother Dirt’s Active Probiotic System Starter Kit and Acne Treatment Kit, which balance and restore skin’s ecosystem.

The PeaceKeeper features a trio of products that repair damage caused by harsh skin care products and rebalance the skin biome. When used together, the probiotic extracts in the Probiotic Foaming Cleanser and Probiotic Moisturizing Serum prime the skin so the live and active AO+ Restorative Mist can nourish and restore it.

The three-step PeaceKeeper Kit includes:

• Step 1—Probiotic Foaming Cleanser: Containing a probiotic blend, this foam cleanser removes impurities while refreshing and nourishing the skin without stripping or over-drying.
• Step 2—Probiotic Moisturizing Serum: This lightweight, dermatologically approved serum contains a skin-friendly probiotic blend that locks in moisture and restores balance, leaving a radiantly nourished complexion.
• Step 3–AO+ Restorative Mist: Featuring a live and active topical probiotic, this patented mist is reportedly formulated with more than 3+ billion CFUs in each bottle. It interacts with elements naturally found in sweat to biologically balance the microbiome.

The Difference Kit works as a clinically tested system to treat acne by repairing damage to rebalance the biome and clarify skin. Similar to the PeaceKeeper, when used together, the probiotic extracts in the Probiotic Foaming Cleanser and the Daily Acne Treatment Lotion in the kit prime the skin for the live and active AO+ Restorative Mist to nourish and restore skin.

The company also has added a Probiotic Hydrating Conditioner to complement the reformulated Probiotic Hydrating Hair Wash. Together, this pair is designed to reveal hair that looks shinier and fuller, and feels softer and stronger.
