Actives International, LLC, in partnership with LCS Biotech, developed EcoCeramide LCS (INCI: Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter (and) Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil (and) Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil (and) Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil (and) Ceramide NP (and) Phytosphingosine (and) Glycerin (and) Hydrogenated Lecithin), which reportedly helps in restoring moisture in the skin and offers a natural and sustainable option to protect skin against pollution, sensitivity, laxity and photodamage.

EcoCeramide LCS is a COSMOS-compliant, plant-derived ceramide designed to mimic the composition of ceramide np in the skin. It delivers an immediate moisturizing effect, when formulated in topical products, and sustained effects in the stratum corneum by strengthening the skin’s barrier function and enhancing epidermal homeostasis.

Reportedly, EcoCeramide LCS is the first product developed from the partnership between LCS Biotech and Actives International announced in October 2019.
