Chosen by Dermatology recently launched Child’s Play (INCI: Cyclopentasiloxane, C15-19 Alkane (plant derived), Squalane (plant derived), Dimethiconol, Phenyl Trimethicone, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Dimethicone Crosspolymer), a hair detangler serum with high plant content.

This hair serum meets EU guidelines for D4 content and can be used both as a leave-on serum for regular grooming and as a wash-off product when used to treat lice and nits, per the company. The detangler serum has been tested to tolerate heat up to 400°F and can be used as a heat protectant as well.
According to the company, the ingredient is intended to be a hair oil replacement to address cultural sensibilities in India, and viscosity regulated to suit Indian hair types and Indian hairstyles. It is also a mechanical delousing agent.
