Microbiome is becoming a household word and generally refers to the mix of bacteria, yeasts and parasites in microscopic form in our immediate surroundings that are invisible to the naked eye. These entities are closely linked to everything from an individual’s weight, mental and autoimmune health, and blood pressure, to diabetes, heart disease and even cancer.

Therefore, it is worth knowing more about them to enhance our general well-being.
