On October 14, 2026, Cosphatec announced the launch of Cosphaderm NAG natural, a natural active ingredient that addresses skin hydration and tone. The ingredient is based on N-acetylglucosamine (NAG), a naturally occurring amino sugar that supports skin hydration and promotes even skin tone.
According to the company’s press release, NAG is known for its ability to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. Clinical studies have demonstrated that NAG enhances skin’s radiance and can contribute to a more even complexion while also promoting the formation of hyaluronic acid to support hydration and natural barrier function.
“Thanks to this combination of skin brightening, hydration and healthy aging potential, Cosphaderm NAG natural is suitable for a wide range of modern skincare applications,” the press release states. “The raw material is of particular interest for formulations targeting uneven skin tone and pigmentation spots, as well as for moisturizing skincare products.”
Cosphatec will demonstrate the new ingredient at the SEPAWA Congress in Berlin, Germany.
