Silab Receives EcoVadis Platinum Medal

Silab Eco Vadis Platinum Medal

Silab has been awarded for its sustainable efforts with the platinum medal from EcoVadis.

With a score of 73/100 in four areas: environment, social and human rights, ethics and responsible procurement, Silab has climbed to the top 1% of companies awarded high ratings by EcoVadis with the Platinum medal.

“Our independence gives us the strategic autonomy necessary to express innovation at every level of activity while integrating nature in each stage of our product development,” said Xavier Gaillard, managing director for strategy at Silab. “We do everything we can to define sustainable strategies appropriate to environmental and biodiversity protection. We are proud and delighted to receive this distinction, the result of an active commitment by all our staff who are strongly involved in this eco-attitude.”

The company invests to promote water and energy savings while implementing a zero-waste policy. One notable initiative carried out in 2019 was the involvement of staff in environmental actions, such as participating in World Clean-up Day. These activities and others are reported annually to reflect Silab’s achievements in terms of sustainable innovation, strategy and supply; environmental protection; social policy; and sharing of values.
