Takasago International Corporation has appointed Naoki Mizuno as president and COO following approval at the company's general meeting of shareholders on June 25, 2026. Effective immediately, former president and CEO Satoshi Masumura transitions to the role of chairman and CEO.
Mizuno said he intends to build on the management foundation established under Masumura while treating changes in the global business environment as opportunities for growth. He emphasized accelerating initiatives that strengthen the company's long-term foundations, creating new value and driving sustainable growth as Takasago advances toward its Vision 2040 strategy.
A Takasago veteran who joined the company in 1985, Mizuno has held senior leadership positions across the fragrance, aroma ingredients, procurement and supply chain businesses, most recently serving as senior vice president overseeing corporate supply chain management. His appointment comes as the company prepares to complete the final year of its NGP-2 medium-term management plan and develop its next strategic roadmap.
