The sustainable line features lids that are made from recycled or bio-sourced materials and 80% of the line is packaged in recyclable glass.

In addition, the glass packaging is printed with organic ink.

The key ingredient in the formulas for the new line is the red camellia flower, which is said to target signs of anti-aging.

According to Chanel, the No. 1 De Chanel line diminishes the appearance of wrinkles by 25%, visibly refines the appearance of pores by 25% and increases the elasticity by 25%.

Cosmopolitan reports that Chanel took five years to create the collection.
