Grant’s line of patent-pending 100% naturally derived Gransense elastomers offer unique versatility and benefits for a variety of hair care formulations.

According to Grant, the elastomers provide enhanced compatibility with commonly used materials such as natural oils, surfactants and quats, and may be formulated into most cosmetic vehicles including anhydrous systems, waxes, o/w and w/o emulsions, and even powders. Gransense elastomers are also heat stable and can be used in both cold and hot processes.

To showcase the performance of the elastomers, Grant is launching a hair care program that includes both lab- and salon-tested formulations. Performance benefits of these formulations include hair moisturization and manageability, an enhanced smooth feel, and added shine effects.

The natural elastomer line includes: Gransense TC-11X (INCI: Triheptanoin (and) Coco-Caprylate/Caprate (and) Polyurethane-100), a natural (COSMOS-approved) elastomer dispersion in plant-origin emollients; and Gransense TC-8X (INCI: Coco-Caprylate/Caprate (and) Triheptanoin (and) C9-12 Alkane (and) Polyurethane-100), a COSMOS-approved elastomer dispersion in plant-origin emollients.
