Consumer demand but also innovative product development came together to form the latest color creation from BASF Colors & Effects: Cloisonné Vibrant Raspberry (pending INCI: Mica (and) Titanium Dioxide (and) Iron Oxides (and) Silica).

'It originated from innovations in pigment technology from our R&D lab,' says Genevieve Lee, associate marketing manager for the company's effect pigments, cosmetics, colors and effects. The result? A bold, magenta, metallic-like pigment based on sustainably sourced natural mica.
