Bevel has created Bald Balm with SPF 25, which was made to moisturize, mattify and help prevent sunburn specifically for melanated skin.
Infused with green tea and vitamins E and C, this sunscreen balm gives consumers protection and moisture for bare or balding scalps. It is reported this product quickly absorbs into skin without an oily mess.
Key ingredients include:
- Vitamin B3: To hydrate skin and protect the skin barrier;
- Vitamin E: To reduce the appearance of scars, thwart sun damage and moisturize skin;
- Vitamin C: To speed healing and reduce skin discoloration, as this ingredient reportedly naturally helps protect against signs of aging and damage; and
- Green tea: A gentle antioxidant to help soothe skin and reduce the appearance of sun damage.
Similar to applying sunscreen, it is recommended this product be applied 15 min before sun exposure and reapplied every 2 hr.
