Misinformation Matters Most
While we expected ingredient-related concerns like trace contaminants or risk for skin sensitization to rise to the top, we found it interesting that the marketing side of the story concerned them most: misleading claims.
One reader noted, "Although contaminants are a big concern to me, misleading claims can be related to a wide range of issues, the main one being that nowadays, it is becoming increasingly hard to tell the truth from fake information."
While this is a mere sampling of our audience, with a limited number of response options, it underscores the magnitude of misinformation in the market and need for continued scientific communication and R&D/Marketing collaboration.
