Cosmetics & Toiletries (C&T) is excited to welcome Lindsay Hymson Schechter, director of science and innovation communications at Kenvue, to its esteemed scientific advisory board. She fortuitously has stepped in for previous board member Emma Kohring, who has moved on to a new industry.
Amplifying Kenvue's Science and Innovation Narrative
Hymson Schechter is focused on amplifying Kenvue's innovation narrative by developing and driving thought leadership and communication strategies to elevate the company's scientific expertise and product pipeline with key external stakeholders, while also engaging and energizing Kenvue consumers around the world. She additionally provides strategic communications counsel to Kenvue’s Chief Scientific Officer Caroline Tillett.
Hymson Schechter previously served as director for investor relation communications, where she developed the financial narrative for Kenvue used to build and educate its investment community throughout the IPO process. She also led the communication activations surrounding Kenvue’s listing day at the New York Stock Exchange.
Helping C&T Advocate for the Industry
"I'm genuinely delighted to welcome Lindsay to our scientific advisory board, which helps to guide and shape the technical content we produce," stated Rachel Grabenhofer, managing scientific editor, C&T.
"I said it before and I'll say it again, as we all know, misinformation about cosmetics and personal care has spread in recent years, eroding consumers' trust in our industry. Adding a scientific communication perspective not only gives us a new view of the information we produce, it also helps C&T find new ways to advocate for our industry."
