Coptis, a leader in providing digital solutions for cosmetic R&D, has appointed Roland de Heere as chief executive officer. De Heere succeeds Jonathan Coeur, who transitioned to Coptis' deputy chief executive officer, global, following Extens equity funds’ involvement in 2021.
10+ Years in Leadership, Planning
De Heere brings more than a decade of experience in leadership, strategic planning and operational management across various industries. Prior to Coptis, his journey included achievements in tech companies, revenue growth and team leadership.
Most recently, he managed operations at Redspher, overseeing a €300 million revenue ecosystem and guiding more than 340 employees. Earlier, as CEO of Upela from 2018 to 2021, he elevated the company to a prominent position in e-commerce and logistics, achieving €12 million in revenue, Coptis reports.
Partnering for Innovation
“In 2025, we aim to be more than a tool for our customers — we aspire to be true partners, enabling innovation by optimizing R&D processes,” De Heere said.
Coptis, now celebrating 25 years, looks to De Heere's expertise in technology and customer-focused strategies to drive growth and innovation for the company's future in the cosmetics industry.
