Lancaster Returns to US

Lancaster, a brand of Coty Inc., is returning to US stores after being gone nearly six years. The Lancaster skin care brand left US stores in 2002. Following the skin care brand's exit, Coty's US prestige business operated under the Lancaster name until January 2006.

According to the company, the exit of the brand's skin care line was to focus on fragrance. The Lancaster brand will once again be established in US department and specialty stores with its 365 Cellular Elixir. The product is formulated with the company's complex of green tea, green coffee, cherry and Mediterranean rosemary; its complex of fig, sugar, pomegranate and melon; and its complex of photosomes and ultrasomes. The product is said to moisturize, strengthen and protect the skin.

In addition to relaunching the brand in the United States, the company also plans to acquire and create new brands. For more information, visit www.lancaster-beauty.com.
