Gerald F. Masoudi has been appointed as associate general counsel/chief counsel of the Food and Drug Division of the United States Department of Health and Human Services' Office of the General Counsel, which handles legal matters for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Since 2005, Masoudi has been deputy assistant attorney general in charge of International, Policy and Appellate Matters in the Antitrust Division at the US Department of Justice. From 2004-2005, he served as principal deputy associate general counsel for the Food and Drug Division, serving for a time as acting associate general counsel.
