Hydrolex E is almost odor-free and supports product protection. The ingredient is suitable for a range of formulations including emulsions, wipes and gels, and surfactant-based products such as shampoos and shower gels.

Symrise produces Hydrolex E in its own production facility, reportedly enabling the company to more closely control its manufacturing.

“With Hydrolex E, we offer a quality multifunctional, ideal for use in a wide variety of cosmetic formulations," said Sabrina Behnke, Ph.D., senior global product manager at Symrise. "Its liquid state makes it very easy to work with and being virtually odor-free, it is suited for times when manufacturers aim for fragrance-free formulations."

Behnke added, “With Hydrolex E, we have added another great product protection solution that works in harmony with our existing portfolio. We know customers will appreciate the quality and efficacy of this material."
