French cosmetic ingredient supplier, Minasolve has introduced MinaCare Pentiol Green+ (INCI: Pentylene Glycol), a corn cob, sugar cane bagasse based version of pentylene glycol.

Serving as a skin conditioner, this ingredient is odorless and colorless, not sticky or greasy and exhibits skin moisturization comparable to glycerin. Additionally, the ingredient has proven its value against yeasts, molds and bacteria as an alternative to conventional preservatives for skin care, hair care, makeup and toiletries.

Furthermore, the ingredient has no formulation challenges, is economical and replaces pentylene glycol efficiently, which meets trends and consumer demands in the personal care industry.
