Corpowell Secures Investment from Seventure Partners ​to Accelerate Expansion of Plant-Based Collagen Alternative

Corpowell, producer of the vegan collagen alternative VeCollal, has secured investments from Seventure Partners, a European leader in venture capital, ​growth and private equity. 

VeCollal had already secured early momentum with strategic partnerships in the United States and Europe, including co-branding projects with prominent brands such as Feel, Ringana, Aroma-Zone, Solaray and Life Extension. 

The company also announced a clinical breakthrough: the ingredient demonstrated a 20.1% reduction in visible cellulite, opening up the market to cosmetic companies. The complete VeCollal portfolio will be presented at Fi Europe, featuring Type I (for skin, hair and bones) and Type II (for cartilage and joints) formulas.

VeCollal is a plant-based product powered by AI-driven biomimetic synthesis to ensure genetic activation. It is designed to mimic the natural amino acid profile of human collagen one-to-one. This results in a bio-identical foundation that is said to distinguish VeCollal from animal collagen and "boosters" on the market.

What's more, according to Corpowell, whereas animal collagen often requires 10–20 grams per day to demonstrate efficacy, with just 5 grams per day over 8 weeks, VeCollal Type I delivers visible results, including a 32.9% reduction in wrinkle depth. 

In vitro studies show that the formula stimulates fibroblasts — the key cells in the skin that produce collagen — to increase collagen secretion (production) by 135%. The VeCollal Type II formula works similarly to support cartilage and joint function.

VeCollal is also unveiling the results of an independent, double-blind study (Trial S036-Etichub University of Pavia, Italy) that investigated the superficial alteration of cellulite in 60 adult women. The results indicated a 20.10% reduction in superficial cellulite after 56 days.

In addition, a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of VeCollal confirmed that its fermentation-based production lowers CO₂ emissions by 83% compared to traditional animal collagen production. The use of fermented plant-based amino acids also guarantees a halal/kosher-suitable, allergen-free, non-GMO and traceable ingredient.
