Function of Beauty is entering the customized styling category with the launch of its new collection available exclusively at Target. The collection offers products catered toward straight, wavy, curly and coily hair.
In 2020, the brand entered Target with a collection of four shampoo/conditioner options based on hair texture: straight hair, wavy hair, curly hair and coily hair. Those formulations were customizable via an array of 10 boosters.
Each new styling product offers UV, heat and pollution protection.
The entire collection is made with 90% naturally-derived ingredients and can be enhanced with one of Function of Beauty's 10 Hair Goal Boosters.
Products in the collection include:
- Soft Bounce Texturizing Spray: This formulation comprises coconut sugar for soft-to-the touch texture, improved movement and bounce, as well as rice protein for volume and manageability.
- Zero-Gravity Styling Mousse: This flexible-hold formulation comprises aloe juice and apple extract for hydration and panthenol for shine.
- Super Shape Curl Cream: This nourishing formulation with lightweight hold features moringa oil for hydration, sugarcane to reduce frizz, enhance elasticity and ease combing force, and castor seed oil for shine.
- Mane Moisture Styling Gel: This defining gel features carob tree seed oil for hair resistance and elasticity, as well as panthenol for shine, moisture and conditioning.
Each customizable styling product will be available exclusively in Target stores and on Target.com, retailing for $12.99 each.
