Berkemyol Potentilla (INCI: Palmitoyl Tormentilla Erecta Root Extract) is obtained through esterification of Potentilla root extract, which is highly purified. Its polyphenols (> 95%) are among the most powerful antioxidants in the plant kingdom.
The active helps to stimulate collagen III and collagen I synthesis in the papillary dermis. It thus improves the suppleness and elasticity of skin and combats premature skin aging. Potential anti-aging formulation concepts for the ingredient include: day cream, night cream, oily gloss and oily serum.
