Silube Sustain-S is a glucose-modified aminoalkyl silicone in a 100% natural and fully biodegradable carrier. The ingredient exhibits the performance benefits that are typically seen in silicone emulsifiers with the added feature of improved sustainability. The reaction of glucose with an aminoalkyl functional silicone inserts both naturality and functionality. The RSPO MB grade, vegetable-derived isoamyl laurate serves not only as a carrier for the system, but also adds emolliency.

Silube Sustain-S is ideal for sustainable formulating and serves as an integral part of formulations featuring high bio-based carbon content. The product is featured in Siltech’s formulation Sustainable Hydration Moisturizing Cream. This invert w/o emulsion cream imparts hydration and features renewable ingredients. The active serves as the main emulsifier and additionally imparts a soft sensorial and smooth after-feel. According to the company, the entire formulation has a total verified (ASTM D6866) bio-based carbon content greater than 90%.
