Disclosed in this patent are cosmetic compositions containing an amphiphilic anisotropic powder and a method to prepare them.
According to the inventors, the amphiphilic anisotropic powder maximizes chemical and physical interface activities by controlling amphiphilic properties, which is a characteristic of surfactants, and geometric properties, which is a characteristic of powder macroparticles.
The composition is thereby said to form an emulsion having excellent and stabilized emulsifying capacity.
