The cosmetic composition of this patent combines at least one organopolysiloxane possessing at least one hydrophilic radical with at least one hydrocarbon oil that is not compatible with the said organopolysiloxane. Furthermore, the composition contains, as compatibilizing agent, an effective quantity of at least one hydrocarbon ester comprising less than 40 carbon atoms. These compositions are intended especially for powders, eye shadows, foundations, concealers, lipsticks, makeup products for the body, mascaras, eyeliners or care compositions for the skin.

The two-part cosmetic product has an anhydrous liquid or semi-solid first part composition with a water absorbent polymer, and a water-based second part composition with a water-soluble or water-dispersible film former. Optionally, the anhydrous first part composition has an oil-absorbent polymer. Preferably, the product is wax-free, and is incorporated into a lip line filler, a volumizing mascara, and/or an antiwrinkle skin care composition.

The object of this invention is to provide a silicone-treated powder of good quality and free from generation of hydrogen. The inventors disclose a powder whose surface is coated with a silicone compound in such a way that the amount of hydrogen generated by Si--H groups remaining on the surface of the silicone-treated powder is not more than 0.2 mL/g of treated powder and a contact angle of water with the treated powder is at least 100°.
