He presented the paper, “A New Horizon in Skin Care Targeting the Facial-morphology-retaining Dermal ‘Dynamic Belt’: Revolution in Skin Analysis—4D Digital Skin Technology,” during the IFSCC 2020 Congress. It won the society's Basic Research Award for uncovering novel insights on the ability of the arrector pili hair muscles to prevent visible signs of aging. This suggests a novel target for skin care treatments.
