People learn in many different ways. There are those who thrive by reading material, others who need it read to them and more who excel when given hands-on experience. Learning is a multi-faceted concept that can be approached in numerous ways, and in the cosmetics world that certainly is no different.
A case study from 2015 found that computer simulation and a hands-on activity in learning electric circuits had no significant difference in how effective the learning strategies were. Yet there are also studies that claim hands-on methods are more effective when learning science.
In terms of cosmetic science, there seems to be little data on whether or not hands-on learning is the preffered method, which made us wonder:
