With the investment, BASF adds to its UV filter portfolio in Asia. The company already produces broad-spectrum UV filters (Tinosorb S (INCI: Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine)) at the Care Chemicals production site in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Uvinul A Plus is a photostable UVA filter and provides protection from free radicals and skin damage. The patented oil-soluble granule form offers formulation flexibility, is free of preservatives and is efficient at low concentrations. The active can be formulated for long-lasting sun care and skin care with anti-aging efficacy.
