NYSCC Suppliers' Day: Indie 360 Pavilion, Future Chemists, Fireside Chat

The NYSCC Suppliers' Day is right around the corner, running May 1-3, 2023, and showcasing the latest innovations, ingredients, technology and sustainable efforts in the cosmetics industry.

The event will present 448 exhibitors to nearly 8,000 registrants attending in person and more than 300 attending virtually. Additionally, it will enlighten attendees 100+ educational sessions on biotechnology, digital beauty, fragrance, microbiome and more.

Indie 360 Pavilion 

This year the indie 360 pavilion will feature social media sensation Alexandra Organic, with a full range of hair care and makeup products. Also included are: Aneley Cosmetics, an all-natural and organic makeup brand made in the U.S. that contains anti-inflammatory ingredients and are specially formulated to be used after facials and waxing; and Dr. Lili Fan Probiotic skin care, a brand that creates formulas free of parabens, sulfates, glycols, phthalates, petroleum minerals and oils. 

Further, Elims, a sustainable oral care company that produces clinically and scientifically backed products, will be present, along with INA cosmetics, a clean, clinically tested skin care brand for women’s most intimate skin; Madame Lemy, an all-natural, luxurious body care brand; Manifest Beauty, a clean, vegan and cruelty-free California-based beauty brand; Nicole Ravachi, a genderless beauty brand for all skin types; and Nulastin, a brand that focuses on performance-driven, scientifically backed, ethically derived elastin replenishment.

Finally, Palmless, a sustainable alternative to palm oil, biodesigned by the scientists at C16 Biosciences, will be featured; as will: Raaka’s World, a beauty brand designed to empower women through easy, authentic, transformative self-care experiences; república skin, a brand for clean body care inspired by nature; Roots Professional for superior hair growth in the salon market; SeSpring, a Korean skincare brand; Six Gldn, a skin care brand for every skin type; and Truth Treatments, offering topical nutritional formulas designed to heal skin will be in attendance. 

Future Chemist Workshop

The future chemist workshop, instructed by Cynthia Johnson, founder and CEO of Cindy J Cosmetics Lab, LLC, will offer university students and young professionals insight about how to become a cosmetic chemist through a tutorial and practical workshop.

Fireside Chat

Finally, a fireside chat will be held with Mohamed Kanji, chief open innovation and operational excellence officer at L'Oreal. Led by moderator Lan Vu, founder and CEO of BeautyStreams, and beginning on Wednesday, May 3, at 9:00 am, the discussion will focus on an open innovation/collaboration strategy toward L'Oreal's vision to achieve its green sciences and sustainability goals.
