Reed Exhibitions, the organizers of in-cosmetics Korea (June 15-16, 2015), announced that in-cosmetics Korea is almost sold out with more than 150 exhibitors, of which 60% are international suppliers from across the globe—notably Australia, Brazil, China, France, Germany, Malaysia and the United States. Reed (organizer of all the in-cosmetic events) created the Korean event to be exclusively dedicated to personal care ingredients for Asia’s third largest cosmetic market, and it's been the group's most successful launch to date.

Particularly striking, notes Reed, are the large multinationals participating—from Dow Corning to Evonik, AkzoNobel, DSM, Dow Chemical, Clariant, Lubrizol and Shin-Etsu—while the Korean contingent boasts companies such as Activon, Bioland, Caregen, Damy Chemical and KCC.

“This event is targeted at Korea’s 1,500+ cosmetic manufacturers, and we expect over 2,000 visitors, particularly formulators and R&D experts," said Sarah Gibson, exhibition director, in-cosmetics Korea. "The Korean industry has been crying out for an exhibition like this for 10 years, and the response from exhibitors has been phenomenal, with 97% of the stands now sold. Educational Program

in-cosmetics Korea, held in Seoul, offers educational programs on global trends and new technologies free to attendees.

Kicking off the program at the Innovation, Marketing and Regulations Seminar Theatre on June 15, market research company Mintel will present on "Global Beauty Innovation," examining trends for manufacturers. This will be followed by a full two-day seminar schedule designed to shed light on the latest technological advances and formulation expertise, primarily featuring international exhibitors such as Dow Chemical, DSM, Evonik, Lubrizol, Seppic and Solabia.

For the benefit of Korean manufacturers planning to enter Western markets, the event’s seminars will conclude with a focus on the complex issue of "Regulations in the West," introduced by Belinda Pilmore, director of the Institute of Personal Care Science.

Innovation and Business Matching

The Innovation Zone will give center stage to hand-picked ingredients launched within the last eight months. An inspiring choice of new finished products from around the world, selected by Mintel for their allure and unique properties, will also be featured.

A business-matching program provided in conjunction with official show partner KCA will enable senior decision makers to connect with exhibitors via pre-arranged meetings.
