BB-Biont protects the microbiome and selectively slows down the growth of Cutibacterium acnes and deconstructs its biofilm to avoid inflammatory skin damage. It also preserves the microbiome biodiversity, promoting healthy skin, according to Sederma.

Tested on two independent mixed panels, 1% of BB-Biont significantly reduced the volume pockmarks and skin roughness after two months of application.

The company will also be attending In-Cosmetics Global 2023 in Barcelona, where it will feature BB-Biont and a new active ingredient dedicated to fading both age and sun exposure pigmentation disorders for an even skin complexion.
