On September 1, 2026, Beiersdorf announced the launch of its new skincare approach to acne-prone skin with Eucerin DERMOPURE CLINICAL PROBIOM8. The innovation is based on more than two decades of microbiome research and consists of a patented cosmetic active ingredient that uses viable, skin-identical probiotics to restore the microbiome.

According to the company’s press release, DERMOPURE CLINICAL PROBIOM8 is based on the cosmetic active ingredient TopiC.A, which contains two naturally occurring strains of bacteria in a dormant state. The strains are activated as part of the skincare routine and support the natural balance of the skin microbiome. Further, TopiC.A relies on specifically selected bacterial strains that naturally occur in healthy looking skin.

Eucerin’s DERMOPURE CLINICAL PROBIOM8 routine includes four products, designed to be used over eight weeks. The set includes a daily cleanser, mask, probiotics and moisturizer.
