The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) is accepting nominations for recognition awards. Nominations are due by August 30, 2022, and must be returned to Lori Rebuck ([email protected]).

Some SCC awards are open to non-members. The main purpose behind each award is to honor outstanding achievements in cosmetic science while raising awareness of the efforts of the contributors.

Maison G. deNavarre Medal Award

The Maison G. deNavarre Medal Award is the society’s highest honor. It is named after SCC founder Maison G. deNavarre and is designed to recognize an individual for accomplishments in activity supporting the best interests of the cosmetic industry through technical contributions. Membership in SCC not required. 

Florence Wall Women in Cosmetic Chemistry Award

The Florence Wall Women in Cosmetic Chemistry Award recognizes a woman for significant accomplishments in the cosmetic industry through technical contributions, leadership skills and business excellence. Membership in SCC preferred, but not required. 

Robert A. Kramer Lifetime Service Award

The Robert A. Kramer Lifetime Service Award is presented to an individual who has given extraordinary service and distinguished leadership in society activities over the course of their membership. Membership in SCC required.

SCC Merit Award

The SCC Merit Award is presented to an individual in recognition of outstanding service, distinguished leadership and exceptional contributions to the society on a national level.
