Solvay has announced two new executive appointments.
Rodrigo Elizondo has been named president of the special chem global business unit. In his more than 26 years with the company he has held commercial leadership and management roles in North America, Europe and Asia; most recently, he served as commercial director for special chem. In his new role, he will continue to be based in Seoul, South Korea.
Michael Finelli has been appointed to the role of president of GBU specialty polymers. He will relocate from the US to Bollate, Italy for the position. For the last two years, he has served as business director for specialty polymers, where he was responsible for the GBU’s business line and development along with marketing activities. In his more than 25 years with Solvay, he has held commercial leadership and business management roles in North America and Europe.
