Koh Akiyama has been appointed president and CEO of Presperse, replacing Sumio Hino, who has been appointed to lead the management of Sumitomo Corp.’s global cosmetics business.

Japan and Sumitomo Corp. China. Hino will continue to manage those relationships within his new Japan-based role.

Akiyama has been serving as chairman of the board of directors for Presperse and is also a board member of Sumitomo Corp. group companies, Cosmotec International Especialidades Ltd. in Brazil and Summit Pharmaceuticals Europe. He brings almost 30 years of experience at Sumitomo Corp. in the chemicals industry, including 10 years business experience while based in New York.
