"With this new personal care lab, we offer a complete service to our customers: from new
formulations to the pilot stage, through stability studies," said Christophe Sacy, managing director of Azelis MEA. "We also reinforce our service to our principals to develop formulations answering local market needs. With the support from our experienced lab team, we are able to offer optimized and tailored solutions to our customers' current and future challenges.”

Furthermore, Azelis announced the acquisition of Quimdis, a leading French distributor of ingredients for nutraceuticals, flavors and fragrances, animal nutrition, personal care, pharma and food. This acquisition strengthens Azelis's offering to fast-growing markets, whilst also enhancing the position of Azelis France in the life sciences sector.

Hans Joachim Müller, Ph.D., chief executive officer and president at Azelis, said: “Following our recent acquisition of Vigon in North America and now Quimdis, Azelis is well-positioned to develop, structure and implement a global strategy for the flavor and fragrance market with the aim to become a market leader. Quimdis will be our EMEA pilar of that strategy and a crucial part of creating a global flavor and fragrance platform.”
