TeamWorks, the regional biennual meeting hosted by the Midwest chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (MWSCC), is the latest cosmetics R&D event to be affected by the COVID-19 crisis. The new date is Oct. 29, 2020.
Originally scheduled for April 8, 2020, TeamWorks organizers have, like many others, kicked the can down the road to October this year, in attempt to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. The group issued the following statement.
MWSCC has made the difficult decision to postpone TeamWorks Exposition, the Next Gen Tech Symposium (April 8) and Social Night based on the rapidly-evolving COVID-19 public health crisis.
The health, safety and well-being of all our attendees and members is paramount and the new date for TeamWorks will be Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.
Please know, the MWSCC Board and TeamWorks team is committed to working even harder to deliver a high-quality, safe and relevant event in October that the Midwest cosmetic/personal care and household products industries deserve.
