Ava Perkins, a soon-to-be graduate in pharmaceutical science at the University of Toledo, recently presented a poster during the SCC Annual Meeting on her study exploring the stability of inorganic sunscreens in different packaging materials and sizes. C&T Assistant Editor Peter Smedley caught up with her in this exclusive interview.

The study, conducted by Perkins and Prof. Gabriella Baki, Ph.D., uncovers the inconsistencies of sunscreen formulations when placed in smaller containers, as well as when using silicone versus plastic containers. Watch now.
