Biotechnology is booming, driven by consumer demand for natural and sustainable yet effective cosmetic products. According to Grand View Research, the biotech ingredients market for flavors, fragrance and cosmetics is projected to expand at a CAGR of 7.8% from 2024 to 2030. Fermented ingredients in particular are expected to grow at a CAGR of 9.3% across industries between 2024 and 2028 to reach US $54.44 billion, per The Business Research Company
