Lachemi Chemorgs P. Ltd. has launched a range of natural, herbal preservatives based on ayurvedic ingredients. La’Ayur is a broad spectrum preservation system effective against gram-positive, gram-negative, molds and fungi. It also provides antioxidant, perfume, fixative and skin rejuvenation benefits. The line can be used in leave-on, rinse-off  and wet wipe formulations. The products were developed using essential oils, herbal extracts, fruit extracts and seed extracts.

La’Ayur-CP is a combination of essential oils with multiple benefits in addition to antimicrobial properties. Cinnamon leaf oil has antimicrobial, antiseptic, antifungal, germicidal, antibiotic, stimulant and astringent properties. It has been used in perfumery and aromatherapy to calm the respiratory tract and the nervous system. Palmarosa oil has antimicrobial, antiseptic, antiviral and bactericide properties. In this preservative, it also exhibits moisturizing, cell regeneration, rejuvenating and regenerating properties for skin. It has also been shown to prevent acne, dermatitis and scarring. Similar to cinnamon leaf, palmarosa oil counters physical and nervous exhaustion and stress-related problems. Curry leaf oil is formulated into the preservative as an antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory agent and for its anti-lipid peroxidative properties. According to the company, curry cures bruises and eruptions.

La’Ayur-CG is a combination of fruit and herb extracts to offer broad spectrum preservation and other benefits. Citrus peel extract serves as a bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiviral, restorative, natural astringent, and tonic for the skin. it is useful for treatment of acne, scars, injuries, stretch marks, wrinkles and hair loss. Meanwhile, lemon grass oil serves as an antimicrobial, analgesic, antidepressant, antioxidant, antiseptic, astringent, bactericidal, deodorant, fungicidal, nervine and sedative tonic. Thyme is incorporated for its antimicrobial, antiseptic, anti-spasmodic, bactericidal, anti-rheumatic, cardiac, carminative, cicatrisant, expectorant, stimulant, tonic and vermifuge properties. It is used as a useful aid in memory and concentration enhancement.
