Nikkol Group’s latest antiaging ingredient reduces pore size by stimulating action on cell differentiation and hydration. Nikkol LPA (INCI: not provided) is an enzyme-degraded soybean lecithin that contains contains 20–30% lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), which enlarges calcium ion intake channels, allowing more calcium ion inside of the cells to improve corneocyte conditions by suppressing TEWL.

According to the company, LPA exists in human skin and is an essential element in the cell membrane due to its ability to promote healthy epidermis development. Formulation with the ingredient results in a balanced skin barrier and better cell differentiation as well as pore size reduction. The ingredient is distributed by Nikko's partner Jan Dekker.
