Ensulizole and sulisobenzone (benzophenone-4) are two underutilized OTC Category I sunscreen actives; although two drawbacks of their use include performance and a tendency to wash off of skin. Zemea Propanediol (INCI: Propanediol) is a multifunctional solvent that keeps these actives in solution through the evaporation process, leading to greater active efficacy.
