Make way for texture—Clariant launched its Playing with Beauty! care range.

Meant to disrupt potentially monotonous beauty routines, this range offers engaging and interactive experiences. It falls in line with the growing trend for emotionally impacting consumers—which the industry at large has been doing by aligning products with consumer values, creating personalized experiences and, like Clariant, creating memorable and exciting formulations.

The line includes the following:

  • Play!—A body wash that (texture-wise) resembles modeling clay, which becomes a moldable foam that conditions the skin and restores lipid barrier function. Clariant’s Plantasens Olive LD SP ECO (INCI: Hydrogenated Ethylhexyl Olivate (and) Hydrogenated Olive Oil Unsaponifiables) mimics the feel of silicone, while GlucoTain Plus (INCI: Capryloyl/Caproyl Methyl/Glucamide (and) Lauroyl/Myristoyl Methyl Glucamide) enhances foam production.

  • Mix!—A peel-off, cleansing face mask applied in dual mousse and gel layers, which forms an emulsion meant to soothe skin and remove the effects of indoor pollution. Ingredients include Eosidin (INCI: Propanediol (and) Water (aqua) (and) Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract) to reinforce skin barrier function and Aristoflex AVC (INCI: Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer) to provide a “melting” effect.

  • Shape!—A lightweight, gel conditioner to aid in styling and hair health. Nipaguard SCL (INCI: Sorbitan Caprylate (and) Capryloyl/Caproyl Methyl Glucamide (and) Potassium Sorbate) provides antimicrobial benefits, while Genadvance Hydra (INCI: Lauryl/Myristyl Polyricinoleate (and) Glycerin) moisturizes.

Additionally, all three formulations include ingredients from Clariant’s Plantasens line, which add sustainable benefits to the range.
